We specialize in daily bulk transportation and packed transportation from the Benelux, Germany and Northern France to all destinations in the UK. Our payload is approximately 29 tonnes, with which we are the sector leader. Besides bulk and packed transportation, we provide additional logistics services such as warehousing and cleaning facilities.
Inventive and innovative
Structural attention for innovation and improvement allows us to actually improve quality and achieve savings in time and cost, in a responsible manner. We have always been a pioneering innovative and inventive logistics company. For instance, we were the first transporter who shipped unaccompanied bulk trailers to the UK using the RoRo concept. International transport company H.J. Van Bentum is the inventor of several lightweight trailer concepts, which we have been using since the nineties. This has led to substantial cost reduction per ton and requires less units for the same cargo volume. Currently, the maximum payload from the Benelux is 28.4 ton for curtainsider trailers and approximately 29 ton for bulk trailers.

Van Bentum knows how to embed continuous innovation in the organization. Innovation is reflected with progressive optimization of automation systems which reduces, among other things, time and distance. As a result, CO2 is continually reduced and the costs for our clients are minimised.
